Design
System Eckerle EIPC, the new generation of crescent (segment) pumps, are gap compensated
internal gear pumps with a steady volumetric flow rate. The meshing length of the gear cogs causes
an only slight pulsation of either the system pressure and the volume flow rate, which is fundamental
for silent operation.
Radial compensation
Two crescents (segments) generate the radial compensation force. Seal rolls – spring loaded – guarantee an almost gapless sealing.
